After a long slumber in the dark days of winter Bluigi makes a road trip. The story begins with my drive to Boise, Idaho to the west of my home to attend the first Cars and Coffee of the season. I made the trip as a stop off event en route to another show. I left home for this 1600 mile journey on April 15 about noon (I know this was about a month ago , I’m behind in posting) arriving in Boise early evening with enough time to have a quick visit with my sister. The visit included a stop at her store in downtown Boise…R.Grey Gallery, a very nice shop and always too much to see with a short visit. I need to go back to really check out more of their beautiful wares. Leaving Boise during the early rush hour traffic I headed west to sister #2 visit of the weekend, this stop brought me to Owyhee county near Marsing for my stop for the night. The visit included a fine dinner and beer and a bit of catching up on family events. Up for an early departure on April 16th and a hearty breakfast at one of my favorite diners, LeBarons “Honker’s” Cafe in Nampa, Idaho. I made an early arrival to C&C this Saturday and was amazed at how many cars showed up for this first gathering.
