Todays post in the redo of Gus the Fiat 131s… Gus now has new tires that hold air. I found a set of Speedline wheels that were an option on Fiat Spyders and other Fiats of the day. The wheels are the 5 1/2 inch version of what was called Iron Cross wheels. Tires were found at the local les Schwab tire store and we chose the 185/70 13 inch size.. now the car is driveable and looking forward to some spring motoring.

This is great Mike! I really enjoyed your posts and cannot wait to see good old Gus get his face lift and new organs. I’m also glad it sounds like your wife is warming up to old Gus. Her name for him (and sex change) is good. Thank you so much for sharing! So glad he got a good home. While I imagine Gus has a home for many years yet to come if you ever decide to part with him i hope you give us first option to buy him back if we can afford to do it at the time.
